See All ReviewsI will never say anything bad about San Dong!! This is one of my favorite places to eat in Houston, and I’m so glad there’s a location closer to me (inside 99 Ranch). Food always comes out hot and fresh. Everything is awesome here, but the potstickers (guo tie), chicken rice (ji pai fan), and braised pork rice (lu ruo fan) are my personal favorites. I wish you could buy their mantou here too, but they only sell those at their Chinatown location. As an added plus, you can get a boba from Kung Fu Tea while you wait, but I’ve never had to wait long for my food to come out.
We ordered the A15 - beef broth with 12 dumplings. It was good. We finished the whole thing until the last drop.
Delicious and cheap is how to describe this counter restaurant established within a grocery store. The dumplings were freshly prepared and added to the soup. There was a short wait but was well worth it. There are other restaurants around it if you want to pick up anything from them and eat at the common food court.
