This place is the Best!! I had the Cuban sandwich, my friend had the fricasse (don’t know if i spelled right 😃) and he loved. The best family run Cuban Restaurant in Ft.Myers!!! Definitely worth checking out.
I am Cuban and can confirm this place is serves authentic Cuban food. My absolute favorite place to go for Vaca Frita. No frills, hole in the wall, with delicious food, very fair prices, and large portions.
Came here for coffee but the environment was not clean or friendly. The coffee machine was not the typical expresso machine you see at Cuban cafes. The lady who prepared my coffee also did not give me my change back after I paid. Will be finding another location for cafecito. The restaurant gives “mom and pop” vibes but unfortunately is pretty outdated and could use a revamp. EDIT on 1/9/26 to reply to the owner's comment telling me "they prefer customers like me do not return".... Based on how you respond not only to my comment but to others as well, it seems there is a lack of receptiveness to constructive feedback. Professionalism is also reflected in how criticism is handled. The way feedback is addressed here suggests a lack of openness to constructive criticism, which is essential to professionalism and business growth.
