3 months agoNever been here before this evening. Live in NC but visiting family. My brother recommended this place so I found it. Need a larger parking lot to accommodate the customers. One seat at bar was empty, I got it. Bartender very friendly & welcoming, served in minutes despite the crowd. All good ordered to go. 2 fish sandwiches, 1 gyro, 1 hot roast beef with home mashed potatoes. Best fish sandwich I've ever had! GYRO huge & delicious. Roast beef & mashed potatoes delicious & plentiful. Highly recommended, will visit every time I come home.

3 months agoWill never go back! Service was awful. Kasha definitely needs help in communication and service politeness. Chicken wings were burnt and meatloaf dinner and mashed potatoes tasted disgusting. It’s pretty bad when my family knows the owners and it seems like they hire anyone off the streets. Oh and to top it off THE WAITRESS LET A CUSTOMER CLEAN TABLES OFF.

4 months agoLove their whole wings and I think their Secret Saxon Sauce is the best Wing Sauce EVER. All the food is great actually along with the atmosphere and service. Their Fish Sandwiches are huge and the best in the area as well. Plus it's pretty affordable compared to most places. They have both a nice Bar Room and Dinning Room. I only wish they had a bigger selection of dark beers.

5 months agoFood is good. Service is very slow even when there is no one there! No drink refills..too busy talking or admitted of going for a smoke. Then to get your food and listen to the local drunks at the bar screaming and have a good Ole time. Not how I want to have dinner with family. They need to clean it up there bit. It's a dive for sure! Very disappointing..will not return.

8 months agoSmall, local restaurant and bar in Natrona Heights. Good food, reasonable prices, friendly service. There is a decent amount of parking.

9 months agoNot bad not great, we sat on the not bar side. Food absolutely needed more seasoning but came out fairly quick. The server was just okay, kinda lacking any personality but thats better than someone with a bad attitude so I'll take it. Might not return unless we want to try out the bar side for drinks only, we'll see.

11 months agoWe ended up at Saxion by a search in Google Maps for restaurants nearby. It's tucked in on a side road and had no idea it existed! When we walked in, we went left to the bar and decided to go back and to the right to the restaurant area. The staff was super busy with a big party but made sure we knew they were on the way to wait on us. The waitress apologized immediately for the wait upon arrival at our table. We understood and explained that it was perfectly understandable. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The buffalo chicken salad came in a large bowl (see photo). The buffalo chicken strip appetizer came with 3 pieces of perfectly cooked chicken, crunchy and drenched in buffalo sauce that I can say was very tasty!
