Took my youngest for dinner. He had a slice of pizza and fries. I had the fried appetizer and the linguine and mussels. Which came with a side salad and bread. The food was good waitress was wonderful. She was very nice and kept an eye on all her tables if needed anything. All in all a great place to go eat at.
Stopped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The service was extremely slow despite there being only five others in the restaurant besides us three. We were waited on quickly but it took about 45 minutes just to make three sandwiches and a side. They also charge a fee if you pay via credit card. I had the Cheese steak special. My wife and mother each had the hot roast beef sandwich with fries. With drinks, our bill came to $48.92. Tack the credit card charge on and our bill came to $50.92!.... for three people! Don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.
This place used to be a treat to eat at-- their pizza was fantastic-- the best in the area, in our opinion. Recently, I took my husband out for his birthday, as he wanted to go to Schiano's in Berrysburg for a pizza. We ordered a pizza. It took forever to arrive. When it did finally arrive, it was obviously overcooked and had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. It tasted HORRIBLE. What was supposed to be a fun outing for a birthday dinner turned out to be frustrating and disappointing. To add insult to injury, I was charged a 'non-cash' charge for using my credit card!! What the heck??? Upon researching it , I found PA bill No.750, which states , even though a surcharge is generally prohibited, the business can charge a "non-cash adjustment fee" if the amount is not over %4 of the bill.-- well!! mine was over the 4%. long story short-- bad food, with a sneaky way of charging more for something that is not worth the original price. a shame. this used to be a great place!
