Tried for the first time today. The counter service felt rushed even though nobody was waiting behind us. The food made up for it though. I had the patty melt and it was made perfectly and tasted great. My husband had the classic with brisket and it was good. We both had onion rings and they were really crispy and tasty. (note: one order of rings is enough for more than one person but we didn't know.) BBQ sauce had a nice sweetness to it and tasted pretty good.
I really love this local place. The good is always good, the service top notch, and is absolutely better than any fast food chain place. If you haven't stopped in here for some food, you absolutely should. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent hamburger, perfect size for one person, with crinkle-cut fries and a drink for $10.99 . Varied menu,with best dish being macaroni and cheese. It can get crowded around noon, as it seems to be a favorite spot of teenagers, oil field and construction workers. But don’t they always know the best and most affordable places?! No table service, order at the counter and your food is brought to the table -fast! And they have cookies!’
