Had an amazing Mothers day Brunch here, with amazing food and more than enough space to accommodate my large group. Had the Ackee and Saltfish with fry bakes, Callaloo, Salt fish fritters, and Cornmeal Porridge. Everything was great, we loved the food and we love the large venue. Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu and for their live performances
Was in the area and seen their lunch special. I mean... I'm being nice with 3 stars. Price and portion for the special was good, but the food was just okay. Bbq fry was soft and lacked flavour. Jerk chicken lacked spice. Rice n peas was okay. Wanted to try the beef patty, but $3.99 price tag just threw me off. Wouldn't drive to Bolton just for this. Verdict: if you're starving and want a quick bite for value, yes. If you want the flavours of Jamaica, no.
The food is amazing, the smiles are genuine, music is on point, and the vibes are always great. If you’re craving delicious Jamaican food in a fun, welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend this spot!
Simply amazing! We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday here & from start to finish, Kadian & her staff went above & beyond! The service, prices & organization were top notch. Every detail was handled to perfection from planning & of course the delicious food! Everyone is still talking about the food & the fun had here with nothing but praise! I highly recommend this venue for their food, fun, prices & hospitality whether it be a private event, a quick take out meal or a dine in experience.
Attended a event at this location over the weekend. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. The food was amazing! Felt like being back home in Jamaica! So flavourful. The vibe was warm and inviting. I wish I took some pictures but I was so caught up in the event. Thank you for an amazing night. Definitely will be back!
I went to Scotch Bonnet on Saturday and purchased the fried chicken and curry shrimp. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The shrimp had clear signs of freezer burn and were extremely small, while the chicken had an unpleasant smell and was very hard. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I could tell the chicken had been pre-fried a day before and simply re-fried for serving. The presentation of the food was poor, and even the bakes were hard. Overall, this meal did not meet expectations at all. If I could rate this restaurant lower than one star, I would.

Just what Bolton was missing. Try it and you’ll have a new favourite local Jamaican restaurant. I love oxtail, get extra gravy on the rice for more flavour. They have a huge menu with all kinds of different options daily.
