a year agoThis little gem is located in Burton. Love their breakfast specials. It's a trifecta- the food is delicious, the quantity is perfect and the staff are always friendly and remember what you like. At Scottie's you feel like family.

a year agoFirst time coming in and definitely wasn't disappointed we both had the Patty Melts with fries. Fries cooked to perfection and the 1/2 pound patties were absolutely amazing. Thanks again coming in next time for the build your own burger.

2 years agoNice family diner. Very affordable and great quality food. I would highly recommend the gravy fries there absolutely delicious Fish here is fries to a golden crispy perfection and there burgers are cooked perfectly with a nice crisp edge and plenty of toppings. They do not skimp ok any ingredients. Wonderful time here if I drive down state again this will be a must stop place.

3 years agoWe ate here for the first time since the change in ownership. My Mom, Aunt and I had lunch. My Mom had a hot roast beef sandwich, my aunt had a BLT and French fries and I had a coffee and an order of fries. The French fries weren’t hot…they were hard but not hot and that made me think they sat in the hot pass awhile. When the coffee was brought to me, it was hot except the ceramic container that the packages of cream was in had crumbs in it. This gave me a feeling that they weren’t as clean in the restaurant. Also, I asked for another cup and it came out lukewarm. The last cup of coffee was hot, but I didn’t get to really enjoy it as it was towards the end of my Mom’s and Aunt’s meals. The waitress seemed extremely busy and I had to stop her to ask for another cup of coffee. She forgot to bring me a takeaway container for my French fries and she never asked my Mom or Aunt how our meal was or what it tasted like. The walls were freshly painted a nice green. It is hard to get out of this parking lot. It was also extremely busy at lunch time with what appeared like one waitress for the entire restaurant.

3 years agoWhat a disappointment this was. I was eager to have a quick bite with my kids. 40 minutes after placing our order I asked them to change it to a to-go order because I had to pick up my wife. As I watched the staff start looking for a ticket I realized they never started cooking it. They came back to say it was being put on the griddle. I cancelled the order and walked out hungry. In the 45 minutes we were there, the staff never once checked on us. My first clue of a problem should have been when my son kept saying other tables who came in after us were getting food. I should have listened.

3 years agoDefinitely will be back! Love the fact you all put a whole piece of lettuce on the burgers, Starlite doesn't do it anymore, they switched to shredded, it's not the same. Everything we ordered was delicious! We'll be back for breakfast next time.
