I’ve given this store multiple chances, but I’m truly disappointed. I bought bread yesterday, and when I went to eat it today, it was covered in mold. When I spoke with the manager, Fawzi (فوزي), he was rude and dismissive, telling me I should’ve checked the bread before buying it. He also said the bread came in just yesterday — which makes no sense, because fresh bread shouldn’t go bad overnight. This isn’t the first time I’ve had problems here. This is the second time I’ve bought bread that was bad, and in the past, I even bought cheese that was already moldy the same day I purchased it. It’s clear this store has serious issues with product quality and storage, and the management doesn’t seem to care about customer health or safety. I really hope corporate or the health department steps in, because no one should be sold expired or spoiled food.
This place is excellent! I bought raw olives, which I couldn’t find anywhere else, and these delicious soft rutub dates. Their seasonal fruits are the best and the prices are reasonable. Additionally, they have a collection of variety of cheeses including sheep feta.
Super pricey and their hot meals are not fresh rather preheated or frozen then cooked. If you are not a regular customers who knows the price of each item, they might charge you more. If you ask about the price they tell you $10 for example, then when you are ready to pay, they charge you additional $3 saying these are taxes. So you better shop elsewhere unless you dont have other options.
