AN ABSOLUTE GEM! The only downside is the small and unassuming building, but the food inside was absolutely fantastical and authentic. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and my only regret is being on vacation, so I won't be able to easily come back for a second bite. With all the fake, watered down and chemical tasting food now here in the USA, this was a refreshing and delicious treat 😋.
Excellent food and service. I’ve tried many Peruvian restaurants across the country, and this one stands with the best. The anticuchos were perfectly cooked, the chicharrón de camarones was crispy and flavorful, and the yuca a la huancaína was rich and delicious. Fresh ingredients and incredible flavors throughout.
Me and family wanted something to eat that was not too far from our location because we had a 2 hour wait before our appointment. Initially we wanted soul food but all the soul food restaurants were closed. However we stumbled upon this Peruvian restaurant which used to be a soul food restaurant, bar and grill hang out spot in the heart of liberty city. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a pleasant smile. The server explained the menu and told us what was good and what was “really” good. Everything she recommended was good. She was very attentive I would definitely go back there .
