This review is based on getting food from the farmers market. I wish the prices were displayed somewhere because I kindly would have walked away. The people were nice but the food just wasn't worth the money. I got a lobster roll, hot dog and one order of fried oysters for $54 without any sides. Some cheap fries would have made it slightly better. The lobster roll was tiny. She even put it in a hot dog bun. She did explain that there was an issue with the order of her regular buns or something. I get it, but still. The oysters were okay but there was no cocktail sauce or anything to dip them in. She ended up giving me some sauce that she made. If I had known there was no sauce I would not have ordered them. Needless to say we still have to go buy dinner. Really disappointed.
We had the warm shrimp and lobster rolls and they were absolutely amazing!!! We specifically searched for lobster rolls and were so happy to find this place located inside the Farm Fresh grocery store. Michelle a nd her son made them fresh for us as well as talked with us and made us feel so welcome.
I have been searching for the best lobster roll in Hampton Roads and I have finally found it! The roll was PERFECTLY buttery and toasted - it supported the lobster and was still soft. The lobster was amazing, so well cooked and fresh! My husband and I ordered 4 - one of them didn’t even make it out of the parking lot (guilty with no shame!). We will be back again and again.
