See All ReviewsMy bf and I went here for the first time and OMG its so flavorful and delicious! Please try it out! We got Kimchi Pancake, Pork Mandu, Soy Beef Bulgolgi Rice Bowl, Spicy Pork Bulgolgi, and then the Fried Fish Shaped Pastries. 😍😍😍😍
My server (I believe his name was Aidan) really made my experience here at Seoul Ave. I was initially a little off put by the extreme prices and less than ideal parking situation, but I typically walk to Pilates at least once a week and had a lunchtime visit recently that brought me in, curiously, on the spur of the moment. My server was unbelievably sweet and accommodating, greeting/ managing tables aa well as opening and holding the doors for customers. I placed my order quickly and was able to try the bulgogi bento box 🍱 for lunch. It was absolutely delicious, the bulgogi was perfectly seasoned, the mandu were soooo crispy, and rice fresh and steaming. Even the water was fresh, crisp, and almost tasted filtered )which enhanced the experience for me). The Kimchi was standard (thank god!) but I did find it a little strange they’d have a side salad instead of standard banchan like radishes, potatoes, beans, fish cake, etc. leafy green side was tasty regardless though! I’m excited to come back and try the tteokboki. Definitely give this spot a visit if you’re nearby and hungry, and Seoul Ave, give your server a raise. He was exceptional!
I placed a pickup order for the donkatsu, rice cakes and mochi. The donkatsu was really thin and dry inside as you can see from the photo, and so stiff I couldn’t even poke my fork through them so it was kind of disappointing. The mochi was good. The rice cake dessert was a weird sticky texture so I didn’t like them.
