AMAZING service and even better food! It was our first time here, and easily the best Korean food we’ve had on the Treasure Coast so far. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. The staff was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back!
So happy to have found this Korean restaurant in Fort Pierce! I have been to many and this ranks in the top 5 for me. We ordered the Bulgogi (a must try), Jap Chae, and the dumpling soup served with bone broth. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and flavorful. We drove about 30 minutes but would have driven farther!
Hands down one of the best Korean restaurants I have eaten at and it’s right here in Fort Pierce! From the moment the food hit the table, it was clear this kitchen delivers authentic Korean food done right. The sizzling bulgogi arrived perfectly tender and full of rich flavor, served on a hot plate that keeps every bite juicy and hot. The stone bowl bibimbap was outstanding with crispy rice on the bottom, well seasoned beef and vegetables, and a perfectly cooked egg that brought everything together. The banchan were fresh, flavorful, and generous. The kimchi had the ideal balance of spice and tang, the pickled radish was light and refreshing, and every side dish complemented the meal exactly as traditional Korean dining should. The Starlight ChungHa was an excellent pairing. Lightly carbonated with crisp bubbles, it had a subtle sweetness that was not overpowering and balanced beautifully with the savory, bold flavors of the dishes. Clean, smooth, and refreshing, it elevated the entire dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was attentive, and everything felt intentional and authentic. This is easily one of the best places for Korean food in the area and a must visit if you are searching for Korean barbecue, bibimbap, bulgogi, or authentic Korean cuisine. Highly recommend and already looking forward to my next visit.
I had Galbi (beef short ribs) the flavors were outstanding from subtle to attention grabbing. I didn't need any sauces, it was perfect the way it came. If you have to choice sides I recommend the spicy cucumber and kitchen, both rock. The place is quiet, clean and airy. A perfect date place that shows you are in the know when it comes to good food. The plaza it is in is a bit sketchy but the food is worth it. The woman who helped me figure out what I wanted and served the food was patient, knowledgeable and efficient. I will return.
This place is a hidden gem. I love their spicy soup and hot stone bowl every time. Reasonable price, big portion. Drive from Stuart at least once every month just to eat here. Highly recommended. I'm a big fan of Korean food 😋
What a pleasant surprise to find this Korean restaurant in this part of the neighborhood. What's even more surprising is how delicious and authentic the food was. I had Korean version of wonton soup and it was incredible. I was told wonton is homemade and broth base was bone marrow like it should and that really gave a thick delicious taste. If you like Korean food, you should definitely try this place for sure.
Oh man, I was kind of distressed when I arrived at the restaurant and discovered it was under new management. Apparently, the previous owner passed away unexpectedly and the restaurant was then sold to this new family. When we walked in and before knowing this information, we noticed the dining room had been re-done and re-organized in a very thoughtful and pleasant way. So far so good because it was about time and the previous layout and decorations were very reminiscent of those documentary series where they travel to North Korea and eat in the local restaurants but secretly film everything. It was super austere. It looks much nicer now overall. We first realized there was something off when we were presented with a menu completely different than what we had seen before. Most notably, was the absence of any type of lunch menu or lunch special. The new owners have decided to go with a one price menu that can be used for both lunch and dinner. There’s nothing wrong with this, but the previous menu had a wonderful bento box style option. That was the perfect amount of food for lunch While giving a great assortment of side dishes with your entrée. Now you get a full dinner size portion, which is a lot of food. This is great if this is what you’re looking for, but it’s a lot for lunch. Keep in mind that the prices reflect this change in portions. The lunch entrée that was typically around $15 will now cost you around $25. As I said, this is OK now that we understand and the portions are significantly different and you will get the full Banchan Side dish experience as well. The only blip this process was the waitress, who apparently is now one of the new owners didn’t seem to know what items on the previous menu were comparable to the new menu. I kept trying to explain what was on the previous menu and she simply couldn’t convey what items on the new menu were the same as the last ones because the names have changed. This is a little odd because you would think the new owner would know everything on the previous menu Anyway, we worked through it and ordered what we thought was our favorites. First thing she did was her to bring out a dozen small banchan plates including kimchi, spicy cucumbers, and sweet & tangy Daikon radish, to name a few. This was a really nice experience and one that was not included under the previous owners. The food arrived very quickly, and I’m happy to say that, although the portions were significantly larger, the quality and taste of the food had not changed at all. In fact, one of the dishes was improved. We ordered the spicy steak, sizzling, chicken, and beef and kimchi tacos. There were plenty of sauce options available on the table. The tacos ran approximately $13 for two. Both the sizzling chicken and the spicy steak or $25 platters each. The canned soda was $3.50. Lunch for the three of us for three entrées and one soda was just under $70. A little pricey for lunch but a very wonderful experience. Will definitely be going back
This place is amazing. I was completely blown away. I had the kalbi short ribs, and they were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. They were perfectly marinated and super tender. The service was fantastic, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant was quiet with just a few other diners, which made for a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Everything came out pretty quick and I loved the sizzling and steaming short ribs. Great display. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for great Korean BBQ!
