9 years agoWe arrived on our bikes, desiring a lake front table for outside dining. Hubby inquires whether they have a dress code, etc., and they said they are "all booked", as we did not have a reservation... (Rolling eyes here). But we were welcome at the bar, or around the (community-style) fire pit. We opted for the bar. We are celebrating 30 years of marriage (the next day)... a nice private table would have been fabulous!? (Note: Only 2 tables were taken at this time..) We sat at the bar, we were dressed nicely for people on bikes, fyi... The food was ok, the service was ok. When we left, we noticed only about 25% of the outdoor tables were occupied. (Holiday weekend, 6:45--7:45ish). What a joke!? So, lady at the hostess stand? Did ALL THOSE PEOPLE "NO SHOW" that you were expecting? Our bill was around $100. Did you think we didn't have money to spend because we RODE OUR BIKES THERE? We were most definitely discriminated against, due to the fact we arrived ON BIKES... even though your location is ALONG THE BIKE TRAIL... Hmmmm. smh. Next time, if we return, I told my hubby, we will be sure to come in ONE OF OUR FANCY CORVETTES, and park right out front, and SEE WHAT KIND OF TABLE WE GET THEN!? (Not kidding.) Oh goodness. So sad and totally un-impressed. We later that evening enjoyed water-front dining at a bar nearby where we were treated so awesome & we left a HUGE tip... We also had a marvelous meal at the Bay Harbor, sitting outdoors the next night, and THAT was, by FAR, the best meal of the weekend. (GO THERE!).

9 years agoThis restaurant was very nice. Loved the food here, but the wait for my meal was long. No wait for a table, though. Their burger and French onion soup were excellent, and it certainly wasn't overpriced. Very well-kept and pretty restaurant. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a cool harbor-side setting.

10 years agoWe hosted an event at Seventeen Restaurant on March 10th. We had a group of 57 total, plus a large screen, projector and a large stand up speaker. They were prompt in tending to our every need from tape to secure the cords, a staff table for paperwork, and even moving tables back at the last minute to make room for our projector. Our guests were raving about the food after the event and we agree that it was delicious. This was a big night for us and Seventeen helped to make it a night to remember. Heidi was amazing as well, she was so on top of everything. She made sure everyone had proper drink refills, clearing excess silverware away, to just attending to any need we had. We look forward to working with Seventeen in the future.

10 years agoBest burger ever!!! The place is beautiful, cozy, and loved our server. The Sommelier have some great recommendations too!
