7 months agoI’ve been visiting Dr Shahin for nearly 10 years. He has an excellent bedside manner and is very cautious and professional in his approach.

11 months agoTERRIBLE DOCTOR. HOW HE STILL HAS A PRACTICE.. I DONT KNOW!! UNPROFESSIONAL, NOT CARING, YELLS AT FAMILY MEMBERS, NOT REASONABLE. HOSPITAL/HEALTH CARE FACILITIES DONT WORK WITH HIM. --look for another doctor. There are plenty out there!! Also very outdated.. no email, scanning, virtual visits, etc....

2 years agoPLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU CONSIDER MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO VISIT THIS PHYSICIAN, FOR YOUR OWN OR A LOVED ONE'S PROTECTION. My mother’s loyalty to this doctor almost killed her. I have personally seen him draw her blood not wearing gloves, shoving an old tissue box as a pillow under her head on the exam table, not giving her blood values to her even when she asked, just stating, “your blood work is fine,” and yelling at family members who questioned him regarding her care. While these issues are problematic, the biggest issue is that my mother was over-medicated to the point that it almost killed her. These were MULTIPLE medications that he prescribed for her. The amount of blood pressure medicine he put her on dropped her heart rate to 35. Her blood pressure dropped to 70/30 (all documented). She was rushed to the hospital where her blood was tested and her heart was tested, and it was found by the cardiologist there that she was on way too much heart medication. She was watched for several days and was slowly titrated on a different and lower dose of medication. Her hospital stay left her weak (she already used a walker prior to this) and she needed some in home physical therapy and a visiting nurse. After being presented with over 90 pages of records from her hospital stay, this doctor refused to sign the paperwork allowing her PT unless she came into the office to see him; an already extremely elderly, weak woman who could not walk on her own, who ended up in the hospital because of the medication he prescribed!! Her condition was explained to the office manager who was extremely condescending and argumentative. My mother thankfully realized her loyalty was ill-placed and has chosen to change doctors immediately. This physician has no hospital rights, which should already make you think twice. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!

6 years agoDr. Shaheen is by far one of the BEST doctors you will ever come across. He always takes time to listen and learn about the medical concerns of his patients ; you don't ever feel like he is in a rush to get you out and see the next patient. He was initially recommended to me by a neighbor about 20 yrs ago and my entire family sees him now. He is a very caring who really wants to help you. As for his staff, they are polite, pleasant and professional. If Dr. Shaheen is not currently your doctor; he should be !

9 years agoI'm not sure about the bad review I see here my only guess he is just one of those impossible people to please. Let me tell you about my visit. I am still in shock with the time Dr Shaheen spent with me. Never in my life have I had a dr take the time to work with me slowly and methodically to find a solution to several problems I was having. His office came highly recommended by a close friend. My search for a doctor is over, I found exactly what I was looking for. As long as it is humanly possible this kind, caring, gentle man will be my doctor. The office staff was also outstanding and friendly. Thank you Dr Shaheed you have restored my faith in doctors.....if more of the where like you the world would be a healthier place.
