Finally got around to trying few dishes from Shans. To name a few, so far we’ve gotten Scallion pancake (Chinese pizza), wonton egg drop soup, boneless spare ribs, veggie eggroll, shrimp fried rice, plain lomein, gen tso chx, lemon chx, amazing chx, honey walnut shrimp, honey walnut chx, orange beef, capital chx. ALL ARE DELICIOUS!! No exaggeration. Since we’ve move to south jersey a little over 2yrs ago, I’ve been looking for a good Chinese spot that makes fried rice as delicious as to where I’m originally from. Safe to say I found what i was looking for in Shan’s. The only downside to this amazing Chinese spot is the wait. Sometimes we’ve waited for a little over an hour for our order…because their food is just that delicious and people love it.
I always order the chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce (lunch special or combination platter) and it's good! The sauce is more on the spicy side than I'm used to but it's good though. One time, I replaced the pork fried rice with vegetable fried rice and I prefer the pork fried rice better. The vegetable fried rice only had baby corn and green peppers which I'm not used to. Not bad, I just prefer the pork fried rice better. I also take my food to go so I am not sure if they have seating. I didn't notice any seating when I was there.
Best Chinese pizza and they work there butts off in there.. great people.
