The employees here are awesome. So nice! My husband and I were working in the area, and were so impressed when we stopped in at the Travel center every day. 👍👍
Last night at around 8:20, I stopped at this truck stop to make a purchase with a two-dollar bill. This is not my first time shopping here, but this experience made it my last. The bill was gifted to me in a set of other two-dollar bills from my local bank. The cashier marked it with a counterfeit pen and told me it was brown. The marking on the bill was very obviously yellow, and anyone who has used a counterfeit pen knows that you have to give it at least one minute to let the ink absorb and detect fraud. The cashier gave me the “counterfeit” bill back and admitted multiple times that she shouldn’t (???), and still served me anyway. She didn’t even take the necessary cash handling steps to hold me accountable if she actually thought I’d handed her a phony bill. I took the bills back to my bank, and lo and behold, they’re real (duh 🙄). Cashiers who cannot properly identify legal tender WITH aids should not be checking out guests and making false and life-damaging accusations about customers you don’t know. Double check her drawer at the end of the shift.
Very clean and huge for big trucks, not the typical truck stop but it’s clean and peaceful
