Amazing burger and I love the sherrer’s dressing. One of my favorites places in town
Very nostalgic feeling restaurant. Upon walking in, your hit with what I can only describe as an antique store smell. I ordered a sweet tea. I like really sweet tea, so it wasn’t my favorite, but the people that seem to come here likely would enjoy that it’s not McDonald’s level sweet. Next, I ordered a chicken friend steak with mash potatoes. Upon eating the potatoes, it felt like I was back home eating my mom’s mashed potatoes when I was younger. The chicken friend steak is also very similar in nature, that nostalgic look and tasted of home made. Overall this was a very comforting meal. Staff was attentive without being overbearing like most places are. I did notice the waitress look at me a little funny, but that’s to be expected with my appearance (usual people that come here seem old fashioned in the way they dress, I dress very alternative) overall, 10/10.
The food was amazing. We drove from another state and so glad we did. The food was all homemade and was so good. You coukd tell they enjoy making food and make everything in house. The pricese were reasonable and the food was filling. I will definitely be back! If you have a chance to stop and try their food, I recommend it. The server and owner were both wonderful.
