Happened to be in the area after running the Mt. Wilson Trail Race in Sierra Madre and decided on this restaurant for a congratulatory meal. It was lovely. The service was exceptional, friendly and heartfelt. Food was delicious and hot.
First time at Shiro, will come back! Tender lamb chops, delicious. The yellow tail tuna steak was awesome. All the appetizers are scrumptious! Very nice and attentive staff too. Excellent evening! Thank you
French-Japanese Restaurant offering 3 course meal for $75 on Wednesday and Thursdays. Atmosphere - elegant, sophisticated and quiet. No loud music or busy bar or TVs so you don’t have to shout to have a conversation. Service - excellent, this is where the good wait staff are hiding. Have not had this level of attentiveness for a while. Food - WOW! Had the Prosciutto salad, New Zealand lamb chops and apple tart. My plate was clean with nothing left People/Crown - down to earth quiet customers. It’s not a place with trendy, loud attention seeking people. Highly recommend. There is street parking and quiet location just off Fair Oaks in South Pasadena.
