The food was good… the service had its own personality 😂 Our server seemed like she was having a very long day. She hit my boyfriend with a quick “yeah yeah yeah” mid-order and disappeared before we could even finish. When he asked for a refill, she actually made it… and then left it at the drink station like a little decoration.😅 At one point she was just chilling and eating nearby, and honestly, I respect it—but also… help us please lol. Overall: tasty food, slightly confusing service, and a memorable experience for sure.
Staff is super rude and aggressive. They will demand you for a tip after making you feel rushed to eat their overpriced junk. My dad took the family here tonight for dinner, and we did arrive around 7:45/8pm, about an hour before they close, but they were still very busy and had plenty of people getting plates of food, etc. We knew it was a buffet, but the did think the food was decent. We also kept in mind that they would be closing at 9 and we're all quick eaters anyway. I was done with my meal by 8:30, while my family was still finishing up and eating dessert. I went to used the ladies room and saw that there was a girl in there mopping, so I was carefully tip toed to a stall, trying not to get her floor dirty, even though they didn't close for another 30 minutes. The girl let out a very loud sigh at me as I went into the stall. Then when I came out to wash my hands, she sighed again and gave me a rude look. It made me feel terrible as I've been in her position, but I usually didn't start side work/closing duties like such till we were closed and or there were no customers, but he dining room was still halfway full. Anyway, I get back to the table and out waitress comes with the bill and says no rush. Not even 5-10 minutes later, she asked if the bill was ready to be paid and my dad kindly told her he wasn't. She walked to her station, turned around and came right back and asked in a demanding way to please "pay now". Then just kept standing over top of my father as he gets his wallet out basically breathing down his back at this point. He gave her EXACT change, she counted it in front of him, slammed the bill tray down and aggressively tapped her finger on the tray saying something I couldn't understand. I assumed she was asking for a tip or telling him to leave it there? She walked away to cash out the check and then is staring at us all with such obvious anger and talking loudly to her coworker. It made us all very uncomfortable and just shocked because prior to this she was great, she refilled our drinks, took our plates, etc with such professionalism. I get it's hard when you have to depend on tips to live, but demanding for them, especially after rushing your guests, is not a good way to earn good tips. After reading these reviews with similar experiences, I'm wondering how much longer this place will stay around with their staff treating their customers with such disrespect. My dad always tips, he's the reason I always try to leave at least 15-20%. Tonight was the first time I've ever seen him leave absolutely nothing 😂 A part of me wanted to leave a few bucks, but I didn't have any small bills nor was I going to ask for them to split up a $20 for me
***PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!*** I wish i would have read the reviews before going in!!!! It was so nasty!!!🤢 Got me a small plate of food and on the first bite a long black hair 🤮!!! The waitress brought us our tea and disappeared. Then an older man came and it was like he was watching us…….i was like, sir this food isn’t worth eating much less stealing. I don’t like doing this but this restaurant literally needs to be under new management!!! My husband was OUT OF SORTS!!!! If any of you are ever on the eastern part of North Carolina, go through Dunn and go to that Hibachi’s. I guarantee you will bust your belly!!! And the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Address in the photos below. Again, please don’t waste your money!!!!
