I was very surprised with this place. Me and my wife love seafood so we go and try new seafood places to find new spots to eat together and with our friends. This place popped up that we have not seen before. Even though the service was lacking and slow. The food was surprisedly very fresh, it came in big portions and the drinks were strong just like I like it. At that point the wait was worth it. We also tried their fried seafood selection and it was amazing. The first bite was melting in my mouth. I wanted to get up and clap for the chefs lol. We will definitely be returning. It’s definitely worth the try!!
We were a party of four and ordered a few different dishes to try. Most of the dishes had a kick or was spicy. Over all the food was good and the oysters were great.
Tried Shuckin' Shack for the first time. Very, very friendly staff. We ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta and it was really good, better than I expected. We had fried pickles - I'd never had whole fried pickles, usually they are pickle slices. They were good, but I prefer the sliced fried pickles. Last, we had the seafood platter. Oysters were great, but unfortunately the rest was not as fresh. All in all a good meal. Big bonus, they have an outdoor area so you can bring your dog.
