Food is good, carinderia feels just like back home, stumbled here when I had my bls/acls certification nearby.
I have eaten at almost every filipino establishment in bergenfield that serves Filipino food. This place is my favorite. Whoever is cooking their food, I hope they don't leave. (Caveat: I only go here in the morning when the food is the most freshly cooked.)
Better than neighboring Filipino markets. Not sure what the other reviewer said about it not being maintained - the products are organized in the aisles, the cafeteria is clean and the food is very tasty. Get here early for the Dinakdakan - it's a must have. The Sisig, while not sizzling, is fantastic to take home and re-fry or have as-is. The selection of products is varied enough, though they have enough space to expand to carry far more products - and hopefully they do in the future. The workers and owner are all super friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Edit: almost a year in, I still stand by my review. Still 5 stars.
