Super sweet people, clean and quick. However, my food was cold. Chicken was cold and dry(i had a breast) but the bbq sauce was great! The rice was luke warm at best and extremely dry and needed salt and/or seasonings. They were not overly busy so not sure why but they could tweak a couple of things and i would go back.
A true gem on the island! The Jamaican food here is authentic, flavorful, and made with real heart. you won’t find anything else like it around. Highly recommended!
This lunch was outstanding and overall chicken jerky finger liking good. Great food relaxed atmosphere very clean. I will cross the toll bridge again soon.
We just happened by Sinclair's about lunchtime, so definitely a lucky find for us. The food has so much flavor, the portions are generous, and the owners are so friendly. The jerk chicken was especially good. A lot of people were ordering to take home, but there is nice seating if you want to eat there. We were lucky, but I highly recommend you plan for lunch at Sinclair's!
Sinclair’s is a culinary treasure on wheels! The flavors coming out of this Jamaican food truck are nothing short of incredible—authentic, rich, and bursting with soul. From perfectly seasoned jerk chicken to tender oxtail that falls off the bone, every dish tastes like a home-cooked meal made with care and pride. Our personal favorite is the authentic Jamaican Meat patties. They are AMAZING!!! Carington and his staff provide very personable service. Just as impressive as his food. They are warm, welcoming, and quick to offer recommendations if you’re not sure what to try (though honestly, you can’t go wrong). It’s clear they take genuine joy in sharing their culture through food. The atmosphere created in their outdoor setting is perfect. The music playing is very inspiring Jamaican music with a message of Life more abundantly through faith in God! If you see Sinclair’s parked nearby, don’t think—just go. Your taste buds will thank you.
Island Flavor & Feel-Good Vibes at Sinclair’s in Boca Grande 🌴🍗 Tucked away on Park Avenue, Sinclair’s food truck is a delightful surprise in Boca Grande. Run by Carlington Sinclair and his family, this charming spot serves up authentic Jamaican flavors with a side of heartfelt hospitality. Their jerk chicken is the real deal—perfectly seasoned, tender, and smoky. The chicken salad is refreshingly crisp, and the fries? Absolutely the best—golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. On a cloudy day, it was the perfect setting for an impromptu picnic. The friendly service and mouthwatering food made it an unforgettable experience. Sinclair’s isn’t just a meal; it’s a taste of Jamaica right here in Florida. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Sinclair’s is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic island cuisine.
Fantastic food on Boca Grande, served with a smile. We ordered the jerk chicken (don’t sleep on the rice & plantains!) and the conch fritters - would absolutely get both again. Fries also fantastic. Quick, quality meal to take to the beach or anywhere.
I would drive from Venice and pay the toll onto the island to eat at Sinclairs again. Incredible food, Jamaican patties were top tier (order extras to reheat at home for a quick lunch) and Jerk Chicken was moist and flavourful (order extra finishing sauce and the homemade hot sauce!). Lots of outdoor seating with good amount of shade, great vibes and service. Can’t go wrong with this gem of a place. Rivals the best jerk I’ve had (and I’ve eaten a lot).
