I grew up eating from the original Singas in Queens, NY. After they franchised it, I was so happy as I was then able to continue enjoying it after I moved to Jersey. But after I moved to Virginia, I was only able to enjoy it whenever I traveled to NJ. I was so ecstatic when my son discovered that they opened up a branch right here in Manassas! I wasn’t sure if the taste would be the same. I went for dinner the other night to try it and the taste was not only the same it was even better! The pizza was so fresh and yummy. They were very generous with their toppings and the veggies were also very fresh. It’s a thin crust pizza but the dough still had substance. The restaurant was clean with lots of seating and there was ample parking. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The man that took our order even knew about our dietary restrictions of not eating pork/meat and made sure to use a clean knife and trays while preparing our pizzas. The Singas in Jersey only offers a 10” but here they even have a large size. I’m so happy that now I can get my Singas fix whenever I’m craving it and don’t have to wait to make a trip to NJ! One very happy customer indeed! Highly recommend this place to everyone who likes thin crust pizza!
We happened to walk by this new pizza spot in Old Town and decided to stop in to give it a try. We were hoping to grab a slice, but they don’t sell pizza by the slice — only small personal-sized pizzas. The place itself was clean and had us feeling hopeful. Unfortunately, the pizza didn’t quite live up to that first impression. The crust was pretty firm and overall reminded me a bit of a frozen pizza you might heat up in the microwave or 90s school pizza (just not square 😆) For $14 for a personal pepperoni pizza, it didn’t quite feel worth the price. This place didn’t hit the mark for us.
Tried Singas for the first time after it had been open for a bit. Pretty happy with everything, the one guy working was super nice, but it probably would’ve helped if he had a second person. The pizzas were good, we really like the crust, and the wings were tasty (just be aware they are breaded). I got the hot pepperoni and although I couldn’t really taste the hot honey, I was still pleased with it! One thing to point out, it was out fault, but pay attention to the specials because they had a “Buy 2 pizzas get 1 free” deal that was never mentioned to us when we ordered our two pizzas, so we missed out.
