Food for the mind, body, and soul! I have yet to have a bad experience or item off the menu!
Chef Malik is amazing! I had the pleasure of tasting a few of his dishes at Sunday Dinner (held at The Aux), so I was excited to order take out for my family. The food was even more amazing! The portions were great, the fusion of Caribbean spice was just right, and you can tell a lot of love and time was put into every dish! I highly recommend Sissy Mary's Kitchen. You will not be disappointed!
Sissy Mary is a real find! Located in the communal space The Aux in Evanston, Sissy Mary is mostly a take-out spot, but there are tables and chairs available if you’d like to dine in. Our party of five decided to eat there and had a wonderful experience. A tablecloth and the warm, attentive service from the owner, Malik, made it feel truly special. The food was outstanding! We shared appetizers and the Hakuna Matata sampler platter family-style, and everything was so delicious. We will definitely be back!
