See All ReviewsI rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was honestly disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, it took nearly 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, despite the restaurant not being very busy. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested, and getting basic things like water or napkins felt like a hassle. The food unfortunately didn’t make up for the service. Our meals arrived lukewarm, and the quality was far below what the menu prices would suggest. The dish I ordered lacked flavor and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Another person at our table received the wrong order, and it took so long to fix that the rest of us had already finished eating. The atmosphere also felt neglected—tables weren’t cleared promptly, and the dining area didn’t seem very clean. Overall, the experience felt rushed and poorly managed. With so many other dining options around, I don’t see myself returning anytime soon.
Honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. I went to Sky Hibachi expecting a normal hibachi dinner, but the service was terrible from the start. The staff seemed rude and uninterested, and it felt like we were bothering them just by asking basic questions. Nobody really checked on us and the whole atmosphere just felt uncomfortable. What really made it worse was when the bill came. They added taxes and an automatic gratuity without clearly explaining it beforehand. It felt like they were just throwing extra charges on the bill. For how bad the customer service was, the gratuity definitely didn’t feel deserved. The food itself wasn’t anything special either, definitely not worth the price or the attitude we got from the staff. Overall the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
We reserved for 5 people during Ramadan, but while driving (40 minutes out), 3 in our party couldn’t make it due to a child getting sick. We called ahead to update the reservation to 3 people. The restaurant told us they would either charge us for all 5 or cancel the table; no flexibility at all. We’ve never experienced anything like this. We were forced to scramble and find somewhere else to break our fast. For a Ramadan Iftar service, the lack of understanding and customer care was extremely disappointing. Families should be aware before booking.
