See All ReviewsVery disappointed with all the good stuff I heard about this place. Anyways we got there and sat down at a dirty table it took around d 10 to 12 minutes for it to be cleaned off. We ordered the food a few minutes later. After I noticed people who came in 10 to 15 mins after we ordered was getting their food I went up to counter and asked what was taking so long. The woman then replied it was being made. Went back to table then another person who was getting their order and they came in after us. I went back up after it had been 45 mins since we ordered to which she told me it had only been 25 to 30 mins since we ordered. Which I know for a fact it wasn't cause we took a photo when the table was cleaned off. Photos on phones tell u the exact time it was taken photo attached. Anyways food comes out at 11:29 am. Eggs were cold sausage was cold and super greasy. Biscuits were hard and a little to done. Anyways my bill was 28 for 3 eggs with some sausage and my grand daughter had a egg and piece of sausage( hers was $4 for the food) so yea I doubt i will go back. For that price the food and wait should have been better.
Skyland Family Restaurant absolutely blew me away. I ordered the meatloaf sandwich, and it was hands‑down one of the best I’ve ever had — tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The French fries were just as impressive, easily some of the best I’ve had at any restaurant. And the corn dogs? Shockingly good. Crispy, golden, and full of that nostalgic fair‑style flavor. Skyland really lives up to the “family restaurant” name. Great food, great comfort, and great value. I’ll definitely be back.
So many fond memories of this place, since I was a little girl. I used to come here and watch the people parachute out of the planes. My Grandfather who was a pilot, went up with one of guys in their plane. I would always get a grilled cheese sandwich and a pickle. So glad this place is still around. I came here a few months ago and ate, it was delicious. I will be back soon.
