Omg the best ribs I’ve ever had.. my husband and I got into a fight over the last one 😂 and the brisket is fantastic.. love love love the barbecue sauce.. and I can’t even explain the banana pudding.. to die for.. oh and the sausage.. killer .. best place ever.. yum yum 😋

Above average bbq at below average prices. I waited until devouring my third offering before posting. Bbq is a tough gig to always get right. Any pitmaster worth his salt can rattle off more ways it can go wrong than never fail. Each visit was different. Kind, generous, customer service being the constant. Visit one was chopped brisket. The smoke ring was evident in each bite. Tender, juicy, very good. Sides were forgotten (carry out) but that oversight was amended on my second visit. I grabbed the full sampler round two and nothing was left for the dogs save bare bones. I was particularly taken with the pulled pork & ribs, but everything was solid. Great links & sausage. The turkey and chicken was a tad dry, but still very good. I found the sides to be pedestrian save the jala corn which stood out. My third trip was a tad disappointing. The smoke ring that was clearly evident my first trip, even when chopped, was less obvious by sight and taste, sliced. The pulled pork wasn't the same, to die for tender, either. The ribs held their own but were clearly inferior to a weekend earlier. Still, even a novice bbq aficionado realizes finding solid efforts ain't easy. Finding it at a reasonable cost is near impossible. Spots in Dallas charge twice as much for plates with half as much meat on 'em. Slap N gets my nod for affordability at a time when nothing is affordable, especially smoked meats.

I'll say it again, best brisket in Texas! Love this place and it's owners. Down home feel with amazing food! Great selection of sides and amazing desserts! Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!
