2 weeks agoGood eats in a hometown feel. We went for breakfast and food was hot and cooked to order. Staff was very fast, attentive and efficient. Quick service and good variety on the menu for Sunday brunch.

a month agoEdges of burger was burnt. Fries were not good. Sons gravy on potatoes and rice was not good. Asked for a Mac n cheese to replace one of the sides. It came out with something in it. Sent it back and told manager to just take side off. Husband didn't complain about his livers and okra. He refused to eat his Mac n cheese after the other Mac n cheese came out. But he doesn't like to waste food either. Instead of taking sides off and only taking a couple dollars off, the manager took out 3 teas off. Price is still 38.88 and leaving himgry......

3 months agoI ordered for my wife and I steak over rice that’s ground steak With potato salad and macaroni and cheese and of course a roll of course which I ordered cornbread, but got a roll is dead. Was very disappointed used to love this place and the food was always good but the food today was not good at all. I took it home and both my wife and I decided separately she was in the bedroom because she is sick and I went in there to clean up and she said that she did not like what we had got and I said I did not either and we both decide to give it to my 90 pound German Shepherd. I’m not that picky but I do appreciate something of quality especially when it cost you almost 40 bucks.

3 months agoTo be honest with you , we went around 1:32 we payed around $48 dollars and i ordered a cheeseburger, and my wife ordered a cheeseburger. My kid had grilled cheese and then we ordered a hot dog to go well. The cheeseburgers tasted off very sour taste. And we didn't finish it And my wife didn't eat hers nothing wrong with the grilled cheese or the hot dog.But later that day, I got sick 3 times and then was on the toilet all night call my doctor this morning and they said there was nothing they can do about food poisoning.I recommend do not eat here and I hear here for years , and now this happened service was good. We had a great server, very nice woman. The food went downhill and it sucked

4 months agoAlways enjoyed the cafe however the prices have went up again, about $5.00 per dish. Be careful folks now you’ll be paying almost $14 for a 4 vegetable plate! way too much in my opinion. Maybe worth heating your pintos at home :) response : thank you so much for responding. I’ve attached the menu linked to your website …. also, I did call the restaurant today speaking to a lady that confirmed the increase - she said “ it was our vendor , everyone is going up”. Hence my review, I know a lot of elderly eat at your establishment, my 80 y/o included - they need to know if the prices go up before they arrive .

a year agoIf you’re looking for a big country breakfast, this is the place to go. The food and the service are amazing. Our food arrived about 10 minutes after we ordered. It was hot and delicious. We ordered the egg and bacon platter and Belgian waffles. Both were great! The restaurant and bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking. For 2 meals and 2 drinks, the bill was $25.25.

2 years agoThe wait staff is excellent. They are friendly and accommodating. The food is off and on. I ordered the spaghetti with marina sauce. The salad was portioned more than the spaghetti but all was filling. Charge for cheese and charge for the spaghetti entree before 4 pm. The sauce had a slight red pepper taste which was good. The garlic bread was a little skimpy. Overall, good meal. Small town kitchen does not have a senior citizen discount or menu and you cannot order a child’s plate as an adult!!

5 years agoVery disappointed. The service seemed unprepared and had to wait longer than expected. I ordered a burger, it was terrible. It had a horrible aftertaste. My stomach started hurting when I got home. I also got fries, they were fine. Another in my party got country steak, she said it wasn't good and the corn wasn't good. My little sister got chicken tenders, they were average. Overall, mediocre service, bad food especially for the prices. (I hear their breakfast is good, but I ordered off the lunch/dinner)
