See All ReviewsIn the last month we ordered twice. The first time was really good. Everything was correct recently which was just a few days ago we ordered the Philly didn't have cheese. I asked for pickles on the side and they gave me a plain burger with cheese. No lettuce, no tomato. No nothing. The mushrooms were not that good so I don't know if it was just a down day but quality control needs to be there all the time. The burger itself was very good. Just needed the toppings to go with it
So I have a mix feeling… My husband and I stopped here on our first night and the service and burgers were AMAZING.. now I do have food allergies especially to oils so it makes it hard to find many places to eat. But they were kind enough to check the salad dressings to let me know if they were suitable for me or not. I loved my burger.. the night before we left I had called in to ask them to make a pot of coffee at around 8pm and they happily obliged so 5 stars for that… it was almost impossible to find coffee in the area and I was feeling a caffeine withdrawal at this point because I would have been on my 3rd XL Timmie’s by now. Haha I had left my credit card with them when picking up my coffee and they called me to let me know and I told them I was coming back within the hour to get dinner. So here is where my not so happy review comes.. my husband wanted the wings and he got them… we were taken back because the wings come dry and you don’t get to choose a sauce… they give you a dip sauce that’s Meh to say the least……. BUT… the wings were unbearable salty… my husband never complains about food and I have seen him eat things that would make a camel sick but he couldn’t even eat completely a second wing… and it seems their wings are bought breaded and seasoned already and they are aware they are salty because the staff said they agreed that they’re too salty… so my husband returned it… they then brought us our bill and the wings were still being charged even though my husband only ate 1 complete wing… so when I spoke to our waitress and said we returned the food because it was not edible she said “oh you wanted it removed from the bill?” I was like “yes” she then said “well you did eat some of it.. soooo” and I got very annoyed with that because she was the same waitress who just told us she never orders the wings because they are far too salty and even she doesn’t like them… yet us the customers are expected to pay for a plate that we had to return after one wing? She spoke to her manager and they did remove the wings from our bill but that left us with a sour taste in customer service and food quality. I paid for my meal and our drinks (only the wings were taken off… and I feel I should state this because other than the wings everything else was great. And I had no other complaints) There aren’t many restaurants to choose from in the town, and if you know good food… well … sorry you might become a Karen since food isn’t top tier. I only ate the burger both times and both times I loved it…. It tastes like a true American Burger… Would I eat here again if we go back to Habour Beach? Yes. And minus the wings I would suggest giving it a visit if you’re in the area
We took a chance and decided to stop by and try this place on a Saturday night while touring the thumb. Was completely blown away! Place was handicap accessible, waiter went above and beyond to make our meal a delight, the food was amazing, prices very fair, and bathrooms clean. I was able to get a gluten free burger and it was the best burger I’ve ever had and we travel a lot! Highly recommend
