See All ReviewsPretty small joint that I never even knew was here. Parking is tough, but that's how it is for every place downtown here. Really friendly staff met us at the door and were helpful with the menu and options. The small size made it feel like all of our interactions with the staff were more genuine. Food was excellent, you could tell it was all freshly made and high quality. Will definitely be going back.
Smoke is serving up some amazing BBQ at my cafeteria in NCRC on Tuesdays now. I LOVE their food. The owner gave me a free sample of BBQ ribs today, and I'm pretty sure I blacked out while devouring them. They were SOOO GOOD! That Kansas City BBQ is dyno-miiiiite! I see that there are a few haters that gave bad reviews; I can assure you it's not because of the food. This is all about the BBQ. If you love BBQ, you're going to love Smoke.
Smoke is hands down one of my favorite restaurants. We go there at least twice a month, and the food is always incredible. The owners are extremely friendly and we chat with them most times we go. They're always exploring new dishes and talking with us about what we may want to see them try next. It's clear these two have a big passion for making great food for people. The prices are decent, but the portions are HUGE so you definitely get what you pay for. When it comes to dinners, this place has hands down the best pulled pork and beef brisket I've ever found in the state. The only places that compare are places I've visited in the deep south next Mexico. If you want real southern bbq taste, this is where you should go.
