My parents and I ordered from Smokeez BBQ at The Blue Heron in Bradenton. Kim and David are great people. I had the smoked sausage with the brisket of beef combined with the cole slaw and baked beans. Everything was delicious. My parents enjoyed their meals as much as I did. We will definitely want to place another order when Smokeez BBQ returns to The Blue Heron.
My wife and I have travelled most of America together and I’ve gone international a few times. The common theme is that we love bbq. This place was easily in the top three bbq places we’ve ever had. We tried all the sauces and there wasn’t one we didn’t like. The meats were cooked to perfection, the fries appear to be regular crinkle cut but taste better, and the Mac and cheese was the best I had had. Highly recommend!!!
Tried it on a lark after smelling the smoker all week long. The sauce was average, but the pork was juicy and the brisket followed with a lot of the smoky flavor I expected. I can't wait to try their ribs and chicken. I wish there were a bit more of "burnt ends" to the meats I had, but it's a minor detail.
