3 years agoThis place makes a fusion/revisited version of banh mi. I had the bulgogi banh mi - very delicious! It is not what I expected since the flavours were very different from the original banh mi, but very pleasant. Fresh ingredients and the flavours were very balanced. Perhaps a little expensive for a banh mi - $15 - but worth trying! Recommended!

3 years agoThis is the best Banh Mi bread I have tried in my life. It was light, and crispy even though it looked disproportionally big for the filling. That being said, the vegetables lacked pickling, the sandwich was generally dry. The chipotle mayo that they give is unjustly hot. A bite would always result in an uneven placement of meat and vegetables. Always had to take two bitea just to get both fillings. Plus orders took too long, although it was a rather busy Friday night but our orders from the other two trucks already arrived like 10 mins before.

4 years agoStopped by for lunch and got the Smoked Brisket Mi with a side of Parmesan truffle fries. The Smoked Brisket Mi was fantastic. Everything in the sandwich was evenly balanced and fresh. The brisket was delicious for a food truck. The Parmesan Truffle waffle fries were also very good. They are a bit different then the usual “Parmesan Truffle” fries you’ll see at a place like Hopdottys. Had a small kick to it but I wasn’t complaining. Also very fresh tasting. I will say the meal was on the expensive side, especially for lunch. But the serving size was well worth it.

4 years agoOrdered brisket banh mi (sandwich) It's definitely different from the traditional banh mi. The whole thing was juicy, bread was crispy and the brisket had a nice smoky flavor to it. It was so good that I finished the sandwich in 5 min. 😅 I highly recommend this place.

4 years agoReally delicious!! Every bite was packed with flavor. Meat was tender & moist. Egg rolls were delicate & crisp with the tastiest filling. Order was prepared quickly & service was super friendly. Highly recommend trying Smokin Banh Mi!

4 years agoGot me the brisket banh mi and dude that butter and chimichurri spread coming out the side there will change your life. Lightly crispy on the outside, juicy, smokey, and flavorful on the inside. Fresh, crunchy, veggies to balance all the richness. Texas brisket and banh mi are a match made in heaven 🤤

4 years agoHands down the best Banh Mi I’ve ever had! Super fresh and well worth your time. The guys working there are also super down to earth. Highly recommend!

4 years agoPleasantly surprised with how tasty everything was, I really enjoyed all the food that I ordered. The people there was awesome and answered every question I had about the menu. They even separated the veggies, since it was a long drive home. Definitely will be back, still need to try their brisket banh mi, which only sells on the weekend.
