Stopped in after not been there for years. I had the pork chops and they were fantastic. My wife had the pork BBQ and it was just as good as the last time we ate there.
If you’re in the Bedford, IN area stop here to eat, you’ll be glad you did. Staff were very friendly & food was really good. Ribs & pulled pork were very tasty. Our grand boys enjoyed their grilled cheese & burger. Thank you Smokin Jim’s for such a great experience!
This place is unequivocally the best bbq around, we are an hour away and will definitely be coming back. The service was great same as the food, I recommend getting the smoked wings and the crust on the brisket is perfectly cooked. For sides I recommend the mac n cheese along with the potato salad. Their sauces are great too, which they also sell for about 5 dollars a bottle. The desserts are homemade as well and personally I prefer the peach cobbler, but I'm not sure if it's a rotating list, because it's listed on a board in the dining room. If it's available when you go then definitely get it. Their hours seem weird as opposed to traditional restaurants but the only thing that means is they value their time and values. Historically restaurants slower days are Monday and Tuesday, and Sunday is meant for God. Whether your beliefs are different than theirs don't let it shy you away from the amazing food they serve. Personally I feel glad that they make time for church and giving their servers/staff time to relax.
