4 months agoAlways delicious, consistent, fast and fresh. Prices are still reasonable to match the portion sizes. Not huge but not small. Even though the place is smallish and seating can be somewhat limited, guests move in and out regularly and there is rarely much of a wait for a table if any. This is my go to for Korean.

4 months agoWent with 9 people, everyone got something different and either folks were hungry, the food was good, or both, because there were few leftovers. I thought the food today was much better than in the past, but it could have been the great company. They say food tastes better with good conversation, and we definitely had relaxed, fun conversation this evening. This is the only full-menu Korean restaurant in Evanston, and the food is quite good. I recommend the stews and the scallion pancake. Extra points for service and menu tweaks accommodating vegetarians and people who don't eat seafood.

5 months agoThis was my first visit. My server was informative and attentive and helped me choose an appropriate spice level for my main entree. The food was delicious, and I plan to return to try more items.

7 months agoA small, cozy restaurant with exceptionally friendly staff. We ordered the Japchae and the beef bulgogi, and both were absolutely delicious.

a year agoGreat food, everything was great especially the Japchae, probably the best I've ever had! Service was friendly and professional, all the staff member seemed very nice and helpful! Love the cozy and comfortable atmosphere, exactly what I expected from a family-owned Korean restaurant! There were many North Western staff and students there eating as well, and they look like regular customers. I had eaten at a lot of Korean restaurants, this is definitely Top 5! Will definitely go there again! Highly recommended!

a year agoI had the bibimbap with beef and beef bulgogi. Both were delicious. I also think that the miso soup was a great addition too. However, my bibimbap came with ground beef. I personally prefer the longer pieces of beef with that sort of dish. I also wish that they had more of a dessert menu. They only had ice cream available today. I think having Korean sweet treats would be a great addition to the menu. The flavor was great, and the food came out fast. I had great service. Will definitely be coming back ☺️

a year agoPopped in for lunch last week, and was surprised with how good the food was. We got the sundubu with seafood, seafood pajeon, and yukgaejang. Everything was delicious!

a year agoA very mom and pop store, The lady serving was very respectful and nice The food though, everything else dimmed in comparison. The food was out.of.this.world. On the first bite I was planning on bringing my family and friends to this place. I'm in love. The craving I had was satiated so well. Can't wait to come here again and try more of their food. 10/10 !!!!!!!!!
