I wanna try this. And it's halal but I am not in Wexford. Do you do fufu in Ur menu?
It's ok, we all ordered a few things so we could taste everything, jerk chicken on the bone and rice with peas were the best in my opinion, I didn't like the potato side it was a bit watery for me, cabbage was ok, corn was just boiled in water. IMO the other food truck is better tasting food.
We stumbled upon this for lunch. I had the small box where you can pick a main and 2 sides. Mine came with jollof rice, coconut chickpea curry and cabbage. I loved it - a filing tasty meal for 10 euros. Highly recommended and vegetarian (possibly vegan) options available. Would want to try their plantain the next time! This was part of the Phoenix Yard, so there is shared seating available.
You need to try this food 👌. Unbelievable Nigerian stew and the best in house coleslaw going 😁. JD serving up some of the most comforting grub in Waterford City it's addictive. The food yard is a buzz of activity it's in and make sure to check out Axe Junkies across the road for Urban Axe Throwing ⛏️🎯
If you visit Waterford you have to go to Socafro Kitchen and try jollof rice with spicy Irish beef stew, fried plantain and corn on the cob. The portion is huge, you won’t be able to finish it at one go. JD, the guy who owns the place, is very friendly and every time we go there he gives us different things to try (puff puff-yummy!!). Definitely recommend it.
Food is so tasty, the meat melts in your mouth! The guy is so friendly and funny too! What more can anyone ask for! Oh ya and the price was so affordable! Great food from a guy really passionate about it! Definitely will keep going there or getting delivery!.
Every since I discovered this place it’s been my favorite food to get. Food is always a 12/10 never ever disappointed, the chicken is always so juicy and full of flavors and the beef stew is *chefs kiss*. Couldn’t recommend this place more the owner is a great man for a chat and you’d be leaving with a smile on your face and a happy belly :)
Authentic home cooked Caribbean and Nigerian food from a great guy. Small business restaurant but it gives you a great home cooked feeling. Owner of the place was friendly and explained all the dishes, great experience and great taste. Very good value for money.
