While staying at the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel my status got me free breakfast each morning I was there. I came here the first morning for a small breakfast, but mostly coffee. Service was prompt and friendly. They offer a breakfast buffet which has all the usual suspects on it. I wasn’t going to indulge in anything there, but when I opened the potato cloche I was instantly happy with what I saw and smelled… they had those small potato wedges which are fried up and have tons of a tasty seasoning on them. Then when I checked out the eggs, I was happy to see what looked like real eggs, not the typical bland, “add water and cook” type eggs I’ve seen at the typical Marriot breakfast buffet, so I tried some of those as well. Both the eggs and potatoes were great! Coffee was decent, but the orange juice definitely tasted light, like they added water or made it from frozen concentrate with too much water. I had three morning’s worth of certificates to come here, but only came here the first morning, I opted for Dunkin across the street the next morning.

Very disappointed one person working the bar and restaurant seating. I have never seen anything like this during the Neptune festival weekend. Sheraton should reevaluate what businesses they let operate on there property.the server/bartender/greeter/ busboy. Did the best she could.guest of the hotel were in and out and with an empty restaurant left due to no service. OK woke up this morning and thought I would try this great buffet that people have reviewed. The food was good, again service was terrible,for a buffet sounds ridiculous but true. The staff was not attentive or motivated and that made for a poor atmosphere. Management needs to recalibrate and focus on service. The food alone will only take you so far.
