See All ReviewsMy wife and I went for our first time on Thursday, March 21st. It was pretty slow when we got there, but it was also in between lunch and dinner time, so that's understandable, but still brought down the atmosphere a bit. The place was clean and comfortable, however. The service was friendly and quick, and there was very little wait for any of the items we ordered. Everything tasted fine, and the apple pie beans were an unusual but enjoyable departure from your run of the mill baked beans. I would just say that maybe one or two more BBQ sauces and sides would be a nice addition to already tasty food, which is my reason for a slight reduction. I would also suggest wet wipes or something similar to be available. As we were leaving (while very full), we bunped into Angel, one of the owners, and spoke to her for a few minutes. She was very kind and pleasant to talk to. We will certainly be returning in the near future!
The waitress was nice, she did seem new but she did a great job. The food on the other hand was HORRIBLE! (Horrible being an understatement) The corn bread was dry, gritty and cold. The meat was not seasoned AT ALL and was so dry the bbq sauce didnt even do it justice. All the sides seemed to have been pre made and were cold as ice. Fries tasted old and the only thing that was warm was the beans. We got our salads and before we even got to our second bite they brought our food out, further proving that nothing was fresh. The corn on the cob was way over cooked and flavorless and mushy. Would definitely avoid this place at all costs!
Pretty bad when your side salad and tator tats where the best part of your meal. Ordered the 3 meat combo. They where out of brisket. The chicken leg quarter was inedible. How do you screw up bbq chicken.Pulled pork was good Ribs ok but everything was cold. You could tell it's all just rewarmed not fresh food. Will not be back.
