I went over to a friend's tonight and she had just brought home some bulgogi from Sora's Kitchen. I had never had it before so she offered me some.. what a great dish. I have never been to Sora's but I can assure you the bulgogi is awesome. I will be visiting this restaurant ASAP
Great Food. I get lunch here regularly. The food always looks and tastes fresh. Generous portions allow me to eat lunch for 2 days for the price of 1.
Our first time here, the service was exceptional. The food was hot, fresh and sooooooo good. Bulgogi was tender and full of flavor. Priced exceptionally well. Will definitely come again.
Sora's Kitchen used to be consistently good, and now it's very hit or miss. We bought two meals tonight, the bang bang combo and bulgogi, and arrived right at our quoted pick-up time. The bang bang was fine and served at a normal, fresh temperature; but the bulgogi was 75° inside, served so abnormally cold that we actually checked the temperature.
Sora’s Kitchen in Bremen is hands-down one of our favorite local spots! If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out—you’ll be hooked after your first bite. We ordered the Bulgogi Fries, Super Crunch Roll, Sesame Chicken with Rice, and Bang Bang Chicken with Rice—and everything was absolutely delicious. The Bulgogi Fries are the perfect mix of crispy fries loaded with tender marinated beef, drizzled with savory sauce, and topped with green onions—it’s comfort food with a Korean twist. The Super Crunch Roll is a sushi lover’s dream: crispy tempura shrimp, crab, and avocado rolled and topped with crunchy flakes and a drizzle of sweet eel sauce. The Sesame Chicken was crispy, saucy, and packed with flavor, while the Bang Bang Chicken delivered that perfect sweet-heat combo with a kick. Both rice dishes were generous and satisfying.
Service was excellent! Food was unsatisfactory at best... the fried rice is literally white rice loaded with soy sauce, there are no vegetables, egg, or anything... just plain salted soy sauce rice... the fried chicken is literally just chicken nuggets, I was expecting actual fried chicken...
Generally the food was bad. Not going to eat here again. More details below ↓↓↓ Pros: The food was packaged and bagged well with no leaking sauce or anything like that. The food was cooked all the way through. (Will edit if I get sick from the food.) Cons: The fried rice and chicken has almost no flavor at all. Tastes like no spices, oils, salt, pepper was used in cooking. It has a very slight smell of soy sauce. Like someone dropped two or three drops of soy sauce and mixed it in. The fried rice and chicken has no sauce on it whatsoever. Very dry. The fried egg rolls were the worst I've had so far anywhere. (Including gas station roller fried egg rolls) The contents of the rolls were congealed into a gelatinous mass and even discounting the consistency the rolls tasted very off. I probably should not have eaten them both. Big waste of money.
This is the best "Asian" food in the area. We ordered the Bremen Roll, Super crunch roll, Bang Bang Chicken and the veggie buns. The sushi was pretty good the crunch roll is rolled into 4 large rolls but both decent. The bang bang chicken was kinda spicy and the rice is pretty basic. We sat inside it's a very large space but very hot and the lighting is kinda dim so not the most comfortable dining area. Definitely more of a take out place. The gentle men at the front was kind.
