Had their food one time, & damn. They are GOOD!!!!! I’m coming back today for another platter 🫶🏽😂
We ordered 2 platters with some extra sides. We got the house sauce and Buffalo sauce on the side. The food was great. Will definitely be coming back. Tavia took care of us. Thank you
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stopped by Soulfood Paradise food truck in Smyrna and was really impressed with the service. Tavia was patient, professional, and efficient — she made the whole experience pleasant from start to finish. The food came out hot and fresh, but the fried chicken and the special sauce she recommended were too salty for my taste. When I mentioned it to my daughter later, she said her fish was also on the salty side, so it might just be a seasoning issue. I also felt that $20 for a small dinner (six wingettes) was a bit pricey, which factored into my rating. Still, the portions were decent, and the overall vibe of the food truck was friendly and welcoming. With a lighter touch on the salt and slightly more value for the price, this could easily be a five-star spot.
Honestly the food was good especially the the rice. However I only received 2 little pieces of beef and a small piece of chicken which was cut even smaller. The platter had sooooo much rice but hardly any meat.
Five stars isn't enough. The food was soooo good! I got the wing platter (BBQ & House sauce) with Mac and cheese and collard greens. I went for the Mac first and it didn't disappoint. Everything was good. The cornbread was good too. Not to mention they were really nice people. Will definitely come back.
I finally got a chance to grab some food from here and everything I had was delicious. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly with just enough breading, not a thick coating of cornmeal. The wings were cooked well, I chose the house sauce which is kind of like sweet chili and something else but it was very tasty. The yams and Mac and cheese is very tasty as well. Definitely gained another satisfied customer.
I don't often review food trucks but this one absolutely deserves it. From the way they handle the evening rush to the absolutely incredible flavor imparted on their food the Soulfood Paradise is absolutely just that. Paradise. The chicken cheese steak is overflowing with chicken and fixings and is so moist it leaves the mouth watering for more. The Mac and Cheese is perfect and taking some excess sandwich filling and putting it in there absolutely sets it off. If you're in the Smyrna area looking for an evening meal, I implore you to check this place out right in front of Family Dollar between Glenwood and Commerce. You may have to wait a little bit for your order but your whole body will thank you. It looked so good I had to dig right in before taking the picture.
I don’t have the words to describe how finger-licking good this food is. No lie, it needs to be studied at a soul food culinary institute. Please don’t get me started on the house sauce- chef’s kiss. Please bottle it and sell it. The mac and cheese is divine and is seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend Soulfood Paradise.
