3 months agoFirst time dining there today. Food was absolutely phenomenal, got the soul rolls. The spicy sauce that came with it took it over the top for me. Definitely will be back to try more !

7 months agoI was glad I got to meet the owner/manager . She was very nice and the food was yummy! Seasoned to perfection! The food was exceptional and the portions were generous. We will definitely be back!!

8 months agoI love the Farmer's Market here but this was my first time trying Southern Side Kitchen. The owner, Eushanada was incredibly kind, sweet, and patient with me. Got the fried catfish + shrimp dinner, with mac and cheese, and potato salad as sides, and a slice of sweet potato cheesecake. Everything was fresh and delicious. Most catfish I've had tasted a bit dirty/gritty/muddy to me but this was incredibly clean to the palette. I love sweet potato as well as cheese cake but couldn't imagine the two together before today, incredible.

10 months agoI tried to give this thing 10 stars here, but it would not let me. This food is incredibly wonderful fresh and hot when you get it aside that the wonderful mother that owns that business is such a sweet person to talk with. I will be bringing my entire family in to get them some good soul food. We’re from South Carolina and lived there my whole life and it’s been rare to find some good home cooked food up here until I found this place. Keep up the great work!!! Best food around!!!

a year agoYou feel like family every time.goes up and above to please. Food is VERY flavorful and delicious.... just keeps you wanting more. Great variety to choose from. If you haven't eaten from here, you're definitely missing out !!

2 years agoOh my goodness. Where do I start? My son who lives in Redding hit me to southern side kitchen where I made my parents today. Catfish mac and cheese cabbage sweet potatoes deviled eggs cornbread pineapple upside down cake let me tell you something. I am so happy. Happy happy everything and I mean everything is absolutely delicious. I'm so glad I went. I've been wanting some soul food for a minute. Finally got it. Thank you. Southern side kitchen. You definitely outdid yourself..... And update the picture you see. That's only half of what I got. I already ate half so you can imagine how much was in this plate. Yes, well worth it 😁😁😋😊🥰🥰❤️🙏🙏💪🏼
