See All ReviewsYea, as expected the 5 star reviewers have written 1 review each...real surprise there. If you have taste buds, avoid this place. 0 flavor, 0 taste. Owner seems to be a very nice person with good service though, 5/5 for service, that's the only thing to account for 1/5 overall rating, otherwise this is a 0/5. Seriously, if you like the taste of cardboard, this is the place for you - regardless of if you are Indian/Pakistani or not.
I went to Spice bar two weeks back for dinner. The look and feel of the place is welcoming, the concept is nice and it's spacious unlike many India restaurants which have tables so close that it becomes difficult to walk. Coming to food, I ordered a combo, which is basically you choose a curry, protein, salad and rice/Nan. My wife ordered a chicken dish along with Rajma which as part of the same order. Rajma seemed like was cooked few days ago. The curry I got was hot but the chicken in was dry and warm. The Nan was not heated at all. When I told the owner, she was kind enough to give me another Nan and gave us a 15% discount on the bill. Also tried Mango lassi, which was very very thick and just imagine trying to drink it using a paper straw. I am not sure if if only happened with me or that's the way, I had to go to the counter to get the bill and pay. Overall a bar experience.
Wonderful food, great presentation. The owner has done a great job to make such an interesting menu and bring life to Indian Food.
