The man taking my order and atmosphere wasnt super welcoming but the burger turned out to taste pretty good. I got a double cheeseburger mustard all the way and fries.
This is, hands down, the best double cheeseburger that I have had in about 15 years. You want a flavor-filled, juicy, great-priced, great-customer-service, and quality burger? Go get one from Squirts Food Truck by Old Taylor High School. I have been looking for a burger that could compare to the ones I would eat back home in New Orleans; I could never find one anywhere. I decided to give Squirts Burgers and Wings a try tonight, and I am highly impressed. My husband is going to tell everyone at his work. I will be going back to try everything else.
I’ve eaten at Squirts Burgers & Fries twice now, and it’s quickly become one of my go-tos on Food Truck Row outside Old Taylor High. The burgers are huge and absolutely packed with flavor — juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly messy in the best way. The crinkle-cut fries are crisp and seasoned just right. Honestly, the food is so good I forgot to take a photo before diving in (the half-eaten picture says it all). It’s one of those meals you can’t wait for. If you’re in the Taylor area, this food truck spot is a great stop — grab a burger, wander around the nearby shops, and enjoy the laid-back vibe. Definitely worth checking out.
