I had Jaeger schnitzel with the Spaetzle, and potato pancake. Did not like the potato pancake, the oil tasted stale. They gladly replaced it with the bavarian roasted potatoes that were absolutely amazing! The homemade apple strudel was delicious as well. It’s family owned and they are very nice.
Very very good German style food! My In-Laws and my husband are from Budapest Hungary (similar food style to German), and were so excited to try this restaurant when I discovered it a few days ago. We ordered carry-out: every sausage type they offered, as well as the schnitzels with sauce and without. The kraut, red cabbage, spatzle all excellent! We absolutely devoured it, there are no leftovers!! I highly recommend this restaurant, give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!!
Stanijas on Chiquita for lunch! Wow! Wonderful German and Balkan food. The potato pancakes are to die for! The schnitzel is large beautiful breaded pork well worth the 11.90 lunch price. Even the fries were good and I'm not fry person. The lunch came with house salad that was fresh and the house dressing was delicious. For dessert apple strudel with vanilla ice cream 👍👍👍. Service was excellent from the sincere greeting when we arrived to the prompt serving of food and check. I highly recommend checking this gem out. They are family owned and operated, the love definitely shines through
