Going down was easier then going up! Great hiking path that leads you to the top access to the Appalachian Trail and the NJ/NY state line. Good parking location, felt safe parking there by the marina. Reception is a bit hard to get but 2 times I was able to get an Uber after several attempts, waited at least 30 mins since drivers there aren't many. Loved the view coming down the mtn at the ridge, you can see on a nice day the tops of the NYC skyscrapers and most of Greenwood Lake.
The state line trailhead is on the opposite side of route 511 than the lake and the marina building. Once you turn off 511, stay to the left and proceed up the hill to limited parking and the trail entrance behind the trailhead sign. Offers access to challenging hiking with nice views but has minimal parking.
