Amazingly delicious food! It’s reminiscent of Indian food but so much more refined. It’s delicately spiced unlike typical Indian food that tends to be very spicy, greasy & salty. This is simply perfection! Great for vegetarians/vegans too. I had the vegetable curry and it was the perfect melody of flavors. It comes with a side of the most yummy salad & crunchy pappar along with 2 different types of pickled/sauces. Definitely a Hidden Gem in Forest Hills.
Had our first visit recently and it was a great experience! Food was wonderful and our server was very helpful explaining parts of the menu that we were not as familiar with. Will definitely be back.
Amazing food. We had chicken Thukpa, is was very rich and delicious. Steamed Vegetable Momo were also amazing. For a started we had wai-wai sadeko and mango lassi. All food was nicely served and decorated in addition to being delicious. Highly recommend.
Saw this was a new spot on Austin street and never had Nepalese food. We asked what was their most popular dish which was the Stellar Platter. It was very unique. The rice at the bottom was toasted and crunchy, the pancake was made of lentils and soft, beef was a little spicy, and the pickled radish was crunchy. We also ordered chicken Momo’s. Will come back to try other parts of the menu again soon!
Great food, and friendly server with great recommendations. We had the chicken momos, Stellar snacks, and the beef noodle soup (sorry forgot the word for this). I would come back for the stellar snacks. The flavors and the textures are so special. The momos were also so flavorful, even without the dip. The noodle soup was so comforting on a cold day!
I hope more people discover this hidden gem! We ordered the beef momo, beef jerky fried rice and the salmon curry. All the dishes were very tasty. 😋😋😋 Be sure to order the Nepali tea to warm you up in this cold weather as well! 😇
Wonderful food and restaurant space! I tried the following, which was more than enough for one meal! •Stellar Snacks plate (an assortment of pickles, vegetable, and meat dishes), which comes with crispy rice, a puffed pancake, and eggs. Really nice lightly seasoned dishes with good flavor. •Chicken Fried Chili - I ordered this very spicy, and it had amazing flavor and just the right amount of sauce/oil without being too oily. Staff is excellent and very attentive. I look forward to trying some new dishes in the future!
My first time coming to the new Nepalese restaurant was excellent! I love the lunch I ate today after my acupuncture appointment. I ordered the Mushroom Chili, Stir-fried Chicken Gizzard, Steamed Chicken Momo and two bottles of Perrier Sparkling water. I will definitely come back again whenever I visit Forest Hills.
