Absolutely fantastic experience at Strickland. Sarah was our server and she was attentive, kind, and on top of everything without hovering. The rest of the staff was just as amazing. Super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which is rare and deserves applause. The food was excellent and came out hot and exactly how it should be. The whole place had that comfortable, everyone’s-welcome energy that makes you want to sit, eat, and not rush out the door. Great service, great food, great people. We’ll definitely be back.
Amazing food & service. Only reason for the 4 star is they now substitute chicken tenders for the “chicken breast” sandwich which they don’t disclose on the menu. They had the best fried chicken sandwich in town and now it’s dry and chewy. But if you stick with the breakfast and you can’t go wrong! The Hash Royale & grits are the best! 😋
Stricklands is one of the best (and most popular) breakfast spots in Seneca. The full menu of breakfast and lunch items is served all day. Service is southern friendly. The food is of good quality, made to order, with generous portions. There may be a wait at peak times but it is worth it.
I tried this on a whim and it did not disappoint! Super friendly people, food was excellent and atmosphere (and music) was just right! I will absolutely come back here regularly! Eggs Benedict was spot on and the pancakes were delicious! It’s not a very big place, but there is waiting chairs available. Even if there is a wait, I don’t think it would be a long wait. Food comes out quick and tables seemed to flip quickly while I was there.
By far the best breakfast food we’ve had in the upstate! The French toast was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. We also got the sergeant pile and that was divine. Egg was soft and cooked perfectly and the veggies gave it a freshness. Mixed it altogether and it melded with that yolk. We are so full but still drooling over this breakfast.
Loved the breakfast omelette i got here and the gluten free pancakes. Friendly staff and very welcoming.
We went for breakfast on a Sunday, so there was a bit of a wait, which is expected. Just a heads-up: make sure to stay near the door because they come out and call your name. If you head back to your car, you might miss it. I ordered the French toast and grits with sausage, and it was all really yummy! Nothing fancy, just your classic breakfast diner. Great for a casual morning bite.
Excellent breakfast menu available all day. Had the breakfast tacos which were amazing. The French toast was probably the best tasting I have ever had with just the right amount of cinnamon. Everything the table ordered was delicious! Also the service was quick. It is a small space so timing your visit in an off peak time will help with waiting on a table. Can’t believe I waited this long to try this restaurant. Don’t let the crowd in front of the restaurant deter you from waiting on a table. To me any wait is probably worth it.
