Stubbz Galley is a new in 2025 restaurant inside the South Shore Boat Club along the IL River in Peru, IL. The smash burgers were EXCELLENT and the tomatoes 🍅 on them came from the chef’s garden! Chef Steve is genuine and has extensive restaurant experience. Lots of options on the menu including a couple of yummy sounding vegetarian choices. The atmosphere is 💯 dive bar with (especially compared to Chicago) cheap beers from the South Shore Boat Club* where Stubbz Galley is located. Great views of the IL River from the decks. This place is a GEM! *don’t overthink the fact that the South Shore Boat Club is on the north bank of the river.
