We have been coming here for YEARS and it is not the same any more. New owners that are friendly but all the ice cream is way out there and not in a good way. They said it's made at Texas Corner.....don't care. Hudsonville is made in MICHIGAN and has the best ice cream. A great summer tradition is gone.π’π’π’ My husband ordered a chocolate shake. They used chocolate malts ice cream with chocolate chips in it. Try and suck that through a straw!π‘
Our granddaughter has a peanut allergy. Heather was awesome in meeting our concerns. Used a new scooper in a new ice cream container to insure no cross-contamination. The ice cream was DELICIOUS! I had sea salt caramel...yum! We will be back. Thank you, Heather!!!
The Sugar Bear is a quaint little hometown ice cream shop. The ceiling tiles were handmade by local children and organizations. Absolutely adorable. The kind of commitment they have with the community is great. The ice cream was amazing. I got the Brownie Bear and requested two scoops instead of three. The brownie on the bottom was soft and warm. Yum. The ladies were very friendly. We will definitely go again. β€π
This was my first time here and I had a peanut butter sundae and it was delicious! The banana split was equally awesome. Quite a few people there so everyone must love it. There is some outside seating and a window for ordering. Definitely go check it out!
They have the best ice cream around, it's Hudsonville and they have many flavors. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. You can go to the walk up window or go inside. They have non dairy and non dairy vegan ice creams also.
We just stopped off the highway looking for somewhere with gluten free food. Turns out not only did they make pretty good soup but the GF wraps we're really good. It took a little while to get the food but it looked like it was all fresh cut / cooked ingredients. And more importantly this place is an ice cream bar that was slammed when we got there.
It's use too be a great family destination a icon of Paw Paw for the best Ice Cream in the Region. However the owner is retiring and the store is falling into desoray. But please don't let this fool you. The owner is very sure to support local events that occur in the community and stopping for lunch or a Cone is a must have and due! Ice-cream makes everything better, Enjoy it all, on the outdoor patio. Don't forget to try the Maple Bacon Sunday!
The food here is amaaaazing and they do a really great job with substitutes. I'm vegetarian and my dad is gluten intolerant so it's nice to have a place where we can both eat!
