My wife and I were there on a Tuesday. It's a 40 minutes to get our food that's an awful long time to wait. It was a typical cheesesteak and a chicken gyro and some french fries. The fries were fine how can you mess up french fries right? The gyro could have been a lot better, they do not use tahini sauce their own kind of yogurt. The Gyro bread was burnt so I did not taste that good. IDK maybe they should ask you if you want your bread warm or toasted definitely not burnt. The cole slaw that they brought out as a side dish was not very cold. It was watery. As for the atmosphere, there was a child coughing Non-Stop on the other side of us. The Spanish couple did absolutely nothing but just kept talking and never addressed the child maybe she didn't feel well? choking on her food? Who knows what is definitely annoying to hear the whole entire time we were there. Especially if the kid was sick why would you bring her into a restaurant. We had the wonderful pleasure of smelling urine from the old couple that was on the other side of us.
First time here with my partner and it was amazing. I would recommend getting the Chicken Parm Omelette ;) & Thanks to Amy she was so polite.
Waitress was great, super friendly. We had a party if 6, split between 2 bills. She was accurate with everything. I'm not normally a soup person, but it came with the mini meal. Got the broccoli cheddar and it was really good!! 3 of us had the Haddock mini meal and it was really good! I would have liked a little more melted butter, but no big deal. Everyone liked the side they chose too. Others had a steak sandwich, hot dog and salmon mini meal. Everyone was happy and cleaned their plates! the mini meals are awesome. Just the right amount of food for the right price too! Even though I don't live close, if I'm in the area again, I would come back to Sunrise!
