See All ReviewsNot a good experience at all! We were called and told that not only our time was changed but also that it would be double the price! So instead of being at 6pm for 100$ per person it was at 7pm for 200$ per person, you know.. because it was Valentine’s Day! We decided to go with it but we shouldn’t have. The food was subpar at best and the service was horrible. We were sat 30 minutes late (most likely because of who was before us… yes they were an Instagram famous person so ya know the get more time, and the pictures they put up were different courses than we had as well. Anyways , I digress. Due to the fact we were late the entire experience was rushed and just not good. We were told we would get a free cocktail and no one knew that was the case. Then we got our bill and we got charged for water…. Just crazy. The chefs were delightful but the Experience was horrible. We will never go back!
All I can say is THANK YOU for the best meal I’ve eaten in my 68 years. It’s now 4:45 am and I’m awake thinking about the dining experience I enjoyed this evening. Before this evening my least favorite food I had eaten was uni. My son raved about your uni and convinced me to try it. WOW OMG. And the Wagyu beef. CRAZY DELICIOUS.
Tucked in AlleyCat this is a quaint sushi bar with 12 seats. The fish is very fresh. The service is excellent. The sushi chef was extremely friendly and accommodating of preferences. The 18 course was a bit tuna heavy lacking in a wide variety of Japanese white fish common in high end sushi locations. No uni on a premium menu also. The rice was a bit too firm. But all in this was a good meal, just not yet at the upper level of sushi restaurants.
